The Wild Muffin was founded by baker, Julie Simpson. Julie
began baking for her family when she was seven years old
and hasn’t stopped since. A devotee of local coffee shops,
Julie was never satisfied with the ordinary muffins offered at
most cafes. On a whim, late one night she created her first
wild muffin recipe and took it to the owner of one of her
favorite coffeehouses. The response was fantastic and Julie
was in business. Julie says, “There’s nothing more satisfying
than being able to do something creative you enjoy and share
it with other people. It sounds corny, but when I’m baking, I
really feel like I’m baking with love.” At the Wild Muffin we
know you'll taste the difference, and your body will thank you.
Julie's business has grown fantastically in a short time. The
Wild Muffin now serves many coffeehouses and natural
grocers in the Nashville area, including Whole Foods Market.
